April 27, 2023

Displayforce Global Limited (DISPL) is proud to announce that its platform has been confirmed as fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by DZP, the largest law firm in Poland. This verification came after an extensive Impact Assessment conducted in January 2023. You can read whole assessment conclusion here.

DISPL's innovative technology is designed to provide valuable, anonymous data using advanced facial detection software. Operating in real time, the platform does not rely on facial recognition technologies, ensuring utmost privacy for individuals.

The platform does not collect or process any sensitive data that could be uniquely associated with an individual, with no requirement for recording or transmitting images. This means that all processing of camera data by neural networks occurs locally on devices themselves without storing images or video streams in permanent memory or transmitting them elsewhere. The platform is designed to forget the faces it 'sees', ensuring complete anonymity and no record of individual habits.

The Impact Assessment confirmed that DISPL has robust technical measures in place to minimize data processing. This includes the implementation of a warning sign regarding video surveillance, in line with the Guidelines 3/2019 on processing personal data through video devices adopted on 29 January 2020.

The assessment found that DISPL does not process special categories of data, so it is not required to seek consent for such processing from data subjects.

As long as the video surveillance warning sign is in place and data subjects' rights are respected, the platform protects privacy and fully complies with the GDPR's legal requirements.
