This project was carried out in partnership with our partners Prestigio Solutions and ASBIS Cyprus.

Project description

The Sea and Culture Museum in Polis Chrysochous have embarked on an initiative to transform their exhibition space into a high-tech museum. This transformation is highlighted by installing Cyprus museums' largest LED video wall, combined with the Multiboard Prime from Prestigio Solutions.

Goals

The primary aim of this project is to create a modern and immersive experience for visitors of all ages, enhancing their engagement with Cyprus's unique heritage with the following:

  • 86-inch Multiboard Prime from Prestigio Solutions connected to LED wall.
  • LED wall of six seamless segments covering 60 square meters in a circular display.

The Multiboard allows visitors to interactively explore the exhibition, placing them at the center of the experience. The large video wall and interactive panels are intended to enrich storytelling, present dynamic exhibits, and make the history of Cyprus more accessible and engaging for everyone.

Work process

The idea for this innovative transformation originated from the Polis Chrysochous municipality. Prestigio Solutions was responsible for setting up and configuring the LED panels and the controller. DISPL software provided the content management setup, including scenarios for splitting and combining the screens. ASBIS Cyprus played a crucial role in bringing this project to life, handling everything from assembling the infrastructure to coordinating contractors for installation, electrical connections, signal wiring, and rack assembly. The Polis Chrysochou Municipality financed the entire project.

Results

As a result of this project, the museum is set to offer visitors a unique and memorable experience. However, it is still under renovation and is not open to the public. The integration of the LED video wall is expected to transform how visitors interact with and understand Cyprus's cultural and historical exhibits, making it a significant enhancement in the field of museum experiences.
